Dr. James Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor, a Registered Sand Therapist – Consultant/Trainer, and a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor. Dr. Jackson has integrated Sandtray therapy and elements of Sandtray into his clinical therapy, supervision, and educational work for over 20 years. Dr. Jackson first experienced Sandtray Therapy in 2002 in his master’s level clinical experiences at a child advocacy center in middle Tennessee, providing supervised clinical therapy to children who had experienced trauma and abuse. Dr. Jackson continued to integrate Sandtray therapy into his clinical work while under supervision for state licensure in 2005. Additional training was gained in his doctoral work in a play therapy course at the University of Alabama as well as several conference and workshop sessions specific to Sandtray therapy. As a full-time therapist and university professor, Dr. Jackson regularly integrates Sandtray in his educational and therapeutic practice.

Registrants canceling up to 48 hours before a workshop will receive a tuition refund less a $20 administrative fee. All requests must be made in writing or by email. No refunds will be issued for any reason on the day of the event. In the unlikely event the workshop cannot be held, registrants will receive a full refund.
